Now about the Yureka device...
1.) Software
The Yureka is powered by an mind-bobbling operation system - CM11
Or better known as Cyanogen Mod 11
It gives you varieties of different features as well as privacy and is customizable. This was not expected on a sub-10k device anytime soon so it came out as a surprise. It is based on Android KitKat 4.4.4 and is going to receive the future update of Android L..
It is also going to be the first device to get the Cyanogen Mod version for Android L and the companies (Yu and Cyanogen) has promised monthly hassle-free OTA updates.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Cortex A-53 64bit SOC ARMv8 clocked at 1.5GHz Octacore and Adreno 405 GPU.
It is the same as the HTC Desire 820.
It has 2GB DDR3 ram.. Which was a bit disappointing when they had not revealed the final price. Getting 2GB ram and octa-core at such a price was just a dream.. It also has 16GB internal memory which is again impressive at such a price..

4.) Connectivity
This device has 4G LTE with CAT 4
support which is again a big question mark as 3G has not even been properly introduced to India but it is said that this device is future ready so keep thinking which service provider you are going to go with as of now only Airtel is supplying 4G connectivity to India .. So we have to wait and see how that goes down in India.. It is also a Dual Micro Sim device..

It is said to be a fabulous low light camera and photos are crisp and come out very good. So theres a big thumbs up for the camera.

The battery is a 2500 mAh Li Po battery which is less and disappointing
after all the other fabulous features
still it is said to give impressive battery backup thanks to cyanogen mod and the customisations ofcourse..

*One Important point to note - Yu says that even if the device is rooted and/or the bootloader is unlocked it will still be under warranty

This awesome budget minded device was repriced to 8,999 after being initially priced at 19,999 ..
